I’ve been a Creed fan since day one.
I actually heard the first Creed album before most people did. A friend of mine just happened to have an early copy of “My Own Prison” because he worked in radio. We were rocking out to it way back. I’ve taken some flack over the years for diggin them. I don’t care. Love or hate them… Makes no difference to me.
Alterbridge is simply better.
Alterbridge is Creed without Scott Stapp. The CD “Blackbird” by Alterbridge is one of my favorite records of 2009. You’ve probably even heard their mellow stuff like this song on mix107.7….
But they have heavier stuff too…
Spend a couple minutes sitting through this one. It’s way heavier than Creed ever was. Cool melodic stuff from Alterbridge…

Miles Kennedy has joined Slash’s band and is going on tour with them this summer. And for the record, I do like Creed’s older stuff…I can’t listen to the new one. Blackbird is a great CD, one of my favorites from last year.
